1. All their music lately has been bad stuff. I mean, Bounce, The Circle, Lost Highway, Have A Nice Day, Crush? Those are terrible albums! And the new songs from Greatest Hits? The worst yet material yet. No Apologies et al sound like they were recorded by my dick and mixed by my ass. Awful faux-pop music.
And I don't think good pop music either (the catchy yet creative music played by The Beatles, The Byrds etc, the fucking GREAT POP SONGS Bon Jovi wrote back in the olden days) I mean generic pro-tooled radioshit.
2. Jon Bon Jovi says he doesn't need to be the principal vocalist of a nostalgia act, but everyone who's going to see them; what songs are they going for? Not for The More Things Change, that's for sure! I note how in Erik, Seb etc's sigs none of them are requesting The Right Side Of Wrong or [other shitass recent song]. And the casual fan at the gig? Like FUCK do they care whether or not the band play anything past It's My Life.
3. Richie Sambora is a fuckin' mess with his drink and the circle are undoubtedly weakened by his absence or sub-par peformances.
4. Jon has only get a real tool. Read that Guardian interview he did a few months back, what a joke. I don't see what he's gaining from dragging the set out anymore rather than doing his boring solo stuff (well, aside from dozens of juicy moneys from the touring industry but goddamn who does he mean he is, Prick Jagger?) His voice isn't as good, he can't write songs for crap, he's a spent force in pop 'n' roll.
So there you get it. Here's my correct opinions. Let Dave go off and do his Broadway piss, Tico smoke cigars and be a communist (cause he's CUBAN, GEDDIT?!), Richie quit the juice and make some blues or any and Jon go and be an asshole somewhere else.
Quit now, refund tickets? Well maybe not financially viable but shit splitting up while still touring worked for Oasis. I truly do believe when they cease their chain of abysmal Bandiera gigs they should hardly name it a day.
Peace bruddahs!
PS. I wrote the bulk of this last night when I was blacking out from excessive beer consumption, but I still basically agree with it. Obviously it's been edited so that the words SOMEWHAT make sense. Don't even cite the hypocrisy of me criticising Richie in this condition - at least I'm not wanting a prosperous European stadium tour!
